Jo Wood has given fans a glimpse inside her eco-friendly countryside cottage as she stars in the forthcoming episode of Abbey Clancy: Celebrity Homes.

The 68-year-old TV personality moved to the old farmhouse in 2019 and has embraced ‘off-grid’ living, generating her own power and nurturing her own vegetable patch.

Opening her doors under the watchful eye of presenter Abbey, 37, Jo proudly showed off her ‘eclectic’ furnishings.

Abbey described the home as a ‘postcard, countryside, chocolate box cottage’, noting that the ‘beautiful’ home ‘looked like something out of’ the 2006 romcom The Holiday.

There is one key difference between Kate Winslet‘s fictional British cottage and that of Jo’s, however, a selection of alien-themed fittings.

Spooky stuff: Opening her doors under the watchful eye of presenter Abbey, 37, Jo proudly showed off her ‘eclectic’ furnishings, which includes alien wallpaper

Showing off her extraterrestrial trinkets and even wallpaper, Jo confessed: ‘I am obsessed with all things alien. The alien wallpaper I designed because I love them so much!’

Revealing how her love of aliens came to be, she explained: ‘I was in Brazil in this place called Recife with my ex husband [Ronnie Wood].

‘He was outside and he said «Jo, Jo get here, there’s something weird in the sky! I went outside and thought «what’s wrong with him?» and there above the sea was a craft!

‘As I watched it it lifted straight up, went to the right and then shot across the sky at a speed that was just… and I just went, «oh my god!»‘

Jo then invited Abbey to see her spacious living room, revealing she removed double doors in order to have a wall large enough to hang her beloved portrait of Marilyn Monroe.

Revealing the importance behind the painting, Jo explained: ‘Marilyn reminds me of my mummy.’

She also pointed out her ‘valuable’ yet ‘fake’ fireplace with no fire as she toured Abbey through her home.

Discussing her decorating inspiration, Jo explained: ‘My style I suppose is very eclectic obviously and things that I think are beautiful.

‘All this stuff here, it’s me. It’s the things that I’ve got because I love them.’

Speaking about filming the show, Jo added: ‘I loved having Abbey over to mine. Maybe I have inspired her and Peter [Crouch] to go off grid.

‘Hopefully she will be ordering some of my alien wallpaper!’

Earlier this year, Jo admitted that she ‘wouldn’t be surprised’ if she had previously been abducted by ‘aliens‘ before having her recollection of the incident ‘wiped from her memory’, as she claimed to have seen three spacecrafts.

According to Jo, the first one – which she says Ronnie himself alerted her to in 1998 – was ‘sausage-shaped.’

Speaking to The Daily Star, she said: ‘I wouldn’t be surprised if I’ve been abducted by aliens but had my memory wiped.’

She went on: ‘I often have dreams of me floating and flying just by myself and getting higher and higher. Maybe that was me being abducted (and beamed down).’

Jo, who went on to have sightings in France and from a plane over South America, added of aliens: ‘I think there are good guys and bad guys. The good guys just like to look at the planet Earth because it’s so beautiful.

‘Then there’s the bad guys, and who knows what they want to do to us.’

Abbey Clancy: Celebrity Homes continues on Thursday at 9pm on ITVBe
