The American Department of Defence said that there is no evidence of contact with aliens. In a report issued by the Department it was stated that reports about UFOs in the 50’s and 60’s were tests carried out by the American military on spy planes and space technology.

The Pentagon added that most of the UFO sightings are “ordinary objects from the world”. The Pentagon report is part of an attempt by the US Government to examine this phenomenon.

A 2021 public opinion poll found that 40% of Americans believe that aliens have visited the earth -an increase on the 33% who said they believed this in a survey carried out two years earlier.

Reports of UFO sightings in the United States are still common to this day with an average of 50 to 100 reports per month.

During the past year the former American military officer, David Grusch, testified before a congressional committee where he said that he believes that the American Government has in its possession corpses of aliens and their space vehicle.
