This video, purporting to show UFOs in the skies over Italy, has been debunked online. Uploaded on January 21 by the @Alphafox78 account on X, the 36-second clip was captioned: «UFO in Italy, what is it dropping?».
However, despite the video’s description, plus the raft of extraterrestrial news that has emerged in recent weeks, the bright lights in the sky, according to the community notes section on X, are manmade and not the work of aliens.
According to one internet user, whose added context was deemed useful by other X account holders, the video depicts drones, not UF0s, in Lithuania, not Italy. «This is not a video of UFOs. The footage is from a drone show that took place on February 16th, 2022 in Vilnius, Lithuania. Strong winds caused many of the drones to fall from the sky,» the community notes read.
