A noted UFO expert has claimed that scientific research in Antarctica risks awakening an “ancient evil” that could destroy the Earth.
Billy Carson, who has written extensively on mankind’s hidden history, claims in an upcoming interview that Apollo astronaut Buzz Aldrin allegedly warned of a threat concealed beneath the ice. Even the tweet has widely been discredited as wild conspiracy theorists’ twaddle.
In the interview with podcaster Shawn Ryan, Carson described the ominous tweet with a photo of the so-called “Pyramid” in the frozen continent’s Ellsworth Mountains.
It supposedly warned “we are all in danger – it is evil itself.” But backing up suggestions the tweet is fake, the post is not visible on the NASA man’s account. However Carson alleges that “thousands” saw it and he screenshotted it.

Aldrin, who walked on the surface of the moon with Neil Armstrong in 1969, had to be medically evacuated from the South Pole after being taken ill while on a visit in 2016. Carson said he had been there to meet with numerous world leaders, but came away terrified by the “ultimate evil.”
While most geologists say that the pyramid shape of the Antarctic mountain is just a naturally-occurring phenomenon, Carson insists that it was made by humans, or some other intelligent life form, while the continent was still a tropical paradise.
“One of the pyramids is two kilometres by two kilometres, by two kilometres,” he said. He says that the Antarctic pyramid is not the only example of a very ancient structure that pre-dates the accepted beginning of human civilisation.
Carson then wildly claims: “Look at Bosnia, in Europe. It’s massive. There’s tunnels underneath that are connecting the pyramids but in one tunnel they found this gigantic crystal.
“It’s called a K2 megalith and on it is written in runes ‘we must stand in defence until we can open the gate’.”
As you’d expect Carson has no evidence for his bizarre outbursts.
He also adds that secret experiments are “re-discovering” advanced scientific knowledge that was used in the long-distant past to communicate with alien civilisations.
“I do believe in life on other worlds and even life in other dimensions,” Carson concludes.
