This viral video, supposedly recorded by the US military in 2018, shows a jellyfish-looking UFO flying through the sky in Iraq. Jeremy Corbell, an investigative filmmaker who uploaded the clip to his X, formerly known as Twitter account, said that US military personnel were instructed to “hunt it down.”
The object is shown to switch colors, between black and white, as it glides effortlessly over a military facility in the Middle Eastern country. Corbell claims that the apparent UFO then submerged itself in a lake, where it stayed for seventeen minutes before reemerging, shooting towards the sky at high speed at a 45-degree angle.
“It goes over a body of water. I’m told it stops on a dime, descends stiff into the water, and for 17 minutes nothing,” the filmmaker said. “And boom! This thing comes out of the water and shoots off at 45 degrees.”
Corbell claims witnesses have described the “legs” of the craft as stiff and not moving. Soldiers stationed at the base allegedly told the filmmaker that their night vision equipment was unable to spot the craft and could only do so when the thermal stratum function was turned on.
The filmmaker said he had been assured of the legitimacy of the video by the person who “risked getting it” and supplied it to him. The incident was apparently corroborated by eyewitnesses, who said the supposed craft had a geometric form that resembled “scale armor.”
