PORTLAND, Ore (PORTLAND TRIBUNE) — The aliens are attacking McMinnville!
Well, it’s actually just people dressed up as aliens, and they’ll be participating in a parade, listening to speakers and music and hobnobbing with fellow cosplayers during the 24th annual UFO Festival.
It’ll be Friday and Saturday, May 17 and 18 on the streets of McMinnville and at Hotel Oregon.
The McMenamins event brings together abductees, extraterrestrial experts and UFO fans for an unforgettable gathering in the very town where the famous 1950 Trent family farm flying saucer sighting took place.
The speakers lineup includes:
- Ryan Graves, the first active-duty military pilot to publicly come forward about regular Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) sightings. Ryan served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy and F/A-18F pilot for a decade, including two deployments in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Inherent Resolve. Graves has been featured in Politico, NBC News, “60 Minutes,” The History Channel, The New York Times, and “The Joe Rogan Experience.”
- Garrett M. Graff, the former editor of Washingtonian and Politico magazines and a contributing editor to Wired magazine, who’s a distinguished journalist and internationally bestselling historian who has spent nearly two decades covering politics, technology, and national security, helping to explain where we’ve been and where we’re headed.
