The viral video had millions of views on different social media channels.
A video has been doing rounds on social media showing an unidentified object that suggestively appears like a ‘humanoid’ above California’s skies. Those who shared the footage claim that the beam resembling those of human characteristics was caught on camera above Sequoia Park. The viral video showed the light slowly descending in the skies. Since the time it was posted, it managed to garner millions of views. Many on the internet came up with multiple theories suggesting that the video showed a ‘cross sign’, an ‘UFO’, and some even called it an ‘angel sent by Jesus’.
However, a closer examination of the footage found that the events associated with it were truly representative. The same video was shot seven years ago, in November 2016. It was originally posted on YouTube by a channel named Jay C. Aerial Anomali. The creator captioned the footage with a brief description. «I summoned and captured this one in front of my house back in August of this year. Decided to motion track and zoom this a little for a better close up,» Jay wrote.
The YouTuber named Jonathan Castro is from the United States and he has posted hundreds of such videos on his channel. Castro described most of them as visible ‘anomalies’ or ‘interdimensional beings’ captured from his house. A claim that cannot be verified. And, in fact, holds very little scientific backing.
However, several people jumped the gun and started circulating the video online. «Hologram (Project Blue Beam) with humanoid characteristics caught on camera slowly descending in the skies of Sequoia Park, California,» a user wrote while sharing the video.
«Human-shaped UFO observed above Sequoia Park, California ,» another user added to the discussion on social media. Among several reactions, a few called it a ‘Cross’ as well.
Similar unverified videos were shared during the Russian invasion of Ukraine, as per a report by The Daily Mail which added that the clips did not truly represent actual as claimed by those who shared them.
