Some old comments from Congressman Tim Burchett about UFOs have resurfaced, and his words are incredibly troubling.

As OutKick readers know, I’m fascinated by the debate surrounding UFOs and all the chatter about whether or not little green men are flying around in the sky. Have a theory? Let me know at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

What we do know is people can’t get enough of the topic. Below are a few recent hits:

Congressman Tim Burchett was told riots could start over UFO information.

Well, amid the nonstop hype and hysteria surrounding the topic of UFOs, some old comments from the Congressman from Tennessee are going viral on Reddit.

Back in October, Burchett – a leading voice in the search for truth about UFOs – made some comments that nobody seemed to notice when he claimed someone tried to get him to be silent on the issue.

The reason? There were fears that people could riot if the truth came out.

Well, I guess we can add his comments to the list of strange and bizarre things coming out of the UFO world. Riots? Why would people riot?

After all, the official position of the government is that many UFO sightings are simply caused by military equipment. People are going to riot over military gear? That makes no sense at all.

After all, this is America. We love military gear. We have the best military gear in the world, and there’s entire montages of our planes blowing stuff up on YouTube.

The implication from Burchett, of course, is much more sinister and ominous. He seems to be indicating the truth would horrify people. Remember, his comments were initially made months after a whistleblower famously claimed non-human biologics had been recovered from a crashed craft. It’s all very bizarre.

What do you think is the truth? Let me know at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
