EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The City of Edinburg will host its annual UFO Festival and Conference. The three-day event runs from April 4 through 6.

On day one, a free open mic night at the Dustin Michael Sekula Library will be hosted by Daniel Alan Jones and UFOlogist David Marler. Following the open mic session, the audience will be treated to a screening of “The UFOs of Soesterberg,” a 0979 UFO incident witnessed by soldiers at the Soesterberg Air Base.

On day two the City of Edinburg will hold the UFO Festival at the Edinburg Promenade Park. The event will have a tin foil station, alien autopsy maze, laser light show, reptilian show, costume contest, laser tag, and rides.

Food and merchandise vendors will also be present and a meet and greet with conference speakers. The night will be closed out with a drone show.

On day three, the UFO Conference will be held at the Region One Education Service Center where several UFO experts with extensive research on UFOlogy will present their investigative work on the UFO phenomena and share their expertise with attendees. The conference is a ticketed event.

Tickets for the Conference are priced at $30 in advance and $40 at the door, while tickets for the UFO crash site experience can be purchased for $60 in advance.  Tickets are available at the Dustin Michael Sekula Memorial Library or online.
