Recently, Google’s mapping applications removed a mysterious anomaly located approximately 7 kilometers offshore from the Malibu coast.
This anomaly had been observed by several Google Earth and Maps users. It gained further attention when oceanographer Tim Gallaudet referenced it during an inaugural Sol Foundation symposium presentation.
The anomaly’s geological origins remain uncertain, and there were plans for further investigation using a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV). However, shortly after its mention at the symposium, the anomaly was conspicuously removed from Google Maps. This change was noticed by a dedicated UFO enthusiast, Kelly Chase, who shared screenshots illustrating the disappearance of the anomaly.
This development has sparked various theories about the anomaly’s nature. Some suggest that its deletion was prompted by its mention in a severe scientific context, moving it beyond mere “conspiracy” or fringe interest.
