New UFO sightings have been reported in the Coventry area. New reports have revealed a craft was seen «spinning and tilting with a hole in the middle» near Coventry last year.
The witness said they «went to get binoculars but it had vanished, followed by violent thunderstorm». Whether or not little green men were involved in the incident in Ryton on Dunsmore is unclear.
In another sighting in the county in 2023, a witness reported seeing a «pulsating light flying steadily across the sky above a field, ducking and diving behind trees». That incident was recorded in Warwick, and was one of several there reported in the last three years.

Rugby is another hotspot. Across our city and county, shapes, colours and objects have been seen in numerous locations. In total, new data shows more than 1,800 sightings have been reported across the UK in the past four years.
Below our map shows you which areas have seen the most UFO sightings. The UFO Identified research group has said that UK sightings dropped to 395 in 2023. That is down 20 per cent from 497 in 2022.
It is also lower than their counts for 2021 at 413 and 2020 at 484. The information comes from social media, newspaper articles, over 50 Freedom of Information requests, and reports made directly to UFO spotter groups across the UK.
The data says people in the North West saw the most, with 41 sightings. This was followed by the South East (40) and the South West (39).
