Are we alone? One couple might not think so after recording a ‘shape-shifting’ light in the sky above Birmingham late on Wednesday, March 20.
Jamie Grant was left spooked by the ‘odd’ glowing ball which he described as ‘definitely a UFO’. He was out with his partner when they spotted the strange sight from Ladywood’s Chamberlain Gardens at around 9pm.
Footage filmed by Jamie showed the light, which he noted had ‘no green or red lights’ like those found on planes, moving quickly and appearing to rotate and change shape. The clip ends with the light fading away.

Mr Grant told BirminghamLive: «Me and my partner saw this above Chamberlain Park in Ladywood. At first, we though it was a star or planet as we always star gaze when walking the dog.
«But then my partner noticed it moving quickly across the sky. As I said in the video, it was just a big ball of light. It definitely wasn’t a plane, helicopter, or drone as we’ve seen enough of them to know what they look like.
«It had no sound to it either. Was very odd. Not the first time we’ve seen this across the city – but now we finally have evidence to prove our word.»
