WASHINGTON (TND) — U.S. military says there is no evidence of extraterrestrial technology or alien life to Earth, to date.

The findings of a report called «Historical Record Report on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena, Volume 1» were released Friday by the Pentagon.

The U.S. military was ordered by Congress to investigate «unidentified anomalous phenomena.»

It revealed there was no evidence for claims that the U.S. government and private companies have access to or have been reverse-engineering extraterrestrial technology.

It also noted there’s no evidence of any sighting of a unidentified flying object to our planet in any U.S. government investigation.

In Maj. Gen. Patrick Ryder’s statement, the Department of Defense spokesman said the review was approached without any «pre-conceived conclusion or hypothesis.»

All investigative efforts, at all levels of classification, concluded that most sightings were ordinary objects and phenomena and the result of misidentification.

The Pentagon’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office conducted the review of the government’s UAP after the National Defense Authorization Act was put into law last year.

It covered more than 70 years of U.S. records of interviews and archival research relating to UAPs.

In page 45 of the AARO’s 63-page document, it concluded if «quality data were available, most of these cases also could be identified and resolved as ordinary objects or phenomena.»

The AARO plans to continue its investigation and report their findings of information reported on its website between November 1, 2023 and April 2024 in a second volume.

Despite their being no evidence of extraterrestrial technology or alien life, the U.S. military is developing portable UFO detection kits to collect data on reports of sightings, according to Timothy Phillips, the acting director of AARO, who mentioned it to reporters on Wednesday.

According to CNN’s reportwho cited Phillips, the sensor and detection system is called «Gremlin.»

Officials are reportedly looking to sending the kits to sites with reports of unidentified objects.

The UFO detection kits are currently being tested at a range in Texas.
