Dylan Huynh, a California native, embarked on a gastronomic adventure to visit and rank five of America’s most unique McDonald’s locations, documenting his journey in a recent YouTube video. Starting in Roswell, New Mexico, at a UFO-shaped McDonald’s, Huynh’s quest led him to sample the offerings of several distinct outlets, including the world’s largest McDonald’s in Orlando, Florida, and the colonial-era McMansion in New York.

From UFOs to Global Delicacies

Huynh’s journey began in Roswell, where the UFO-themed McDonald’s captivated him with its alien statues and interior design reminiscent of a spacecraft. His adventure continued to the McMansion in New York, a McDonald’s housed in a 19th-century farmhouse, featuring grand staircases and luxurious interiors. However, despite the opulence, Huynh found the atmosphere uncomfortably quiet and not as enjoyable as anticipated.

World’s Largest McDonald’s and Global Headquarters

In Orlando, Florida, Huynh visited the world’s largest McDonald’s, notable for its extensive play area, arcade, and unique menu items such as McPasta and McPizza. The vibrancy and liveliness of this outlet contrasted starkly with the tranquility of the McMansion. Continuing to the McDonald’s global headquarters in Chicago, Huynh sampled international menu items, including a BBQ bacon stack from the UK and a filet-o-shrimp burger from Japan, praising the global variety available.

Exploring New Concepts: CosMc in Illinois

The final stop on Huynh’s tour was CosMc in Illinois, a new concept restaurant named after McDonald’s alien mascot. Offering a menu designed to «boost your mood into the stratosphere,» CosMc intrigued Huynh with its colorful slushes, iced teas, and unique coffee blends. Despite mixed feelings about some of the offerings, Huynh was impressed by the innovative approach to the menu.

Huynh’s journey through America’s most unique McDonald’s locations culminated with the crowning of the world’s largest McDonald’s in Florida as the winner. This epic quest showcased the creativity and diversity of McDonald’s outlets across the country, leaving Huynh and his viewers with memorable culinary experiences and a newfound appreciation for the fast-food chain’s efforts to cater to diverse tastes and preferences.
