A bizarre video shows a mysterious ring-shaped «UFO» in the night sky above a Disneyland resort.
The footage, alongside a more clear still image, was shared to the «UFO Sightings Footage» Facebook page by Brian Smith, who explained it was captured by his daughter on February 19.
Brian wrote: «My daughter filmed this at Disneyland last night. Really weird ring in the sky.» The ring appears to be above the Matterhorn Bobsleds amusement, a feature at the Disneyland Park in California, US.

A female voice can be heard in the video saying: «Literally what is this? It’s just this black ring in the sky. It’s moving up. What is that? That black ring in the sky! It’s, like, moving… what is that? Why is it just there? It’s moving up!»
Reacting in the comments section, several people said it looked like some form of «portal». One said: «It’s just Disney’s portal calm down nothing to see here lol.» Another said: «Legit? Probably! – people seeing these rings everywhere.»
Several commenters suggested it must be a «smoke ring», although Brian followed up by saying the footage was captured before the park’s fireworks display took place.
Others reckoned it had come from an «explosion» caused by a broken transformer. But not everyone was so sure. One comment read: «For those saying it’s a transformer explosion, I’m pretty sure those at DISNEYLAND would’ve captured if something blew up. Or would’ve at least mentioned it.»
Another person wrote: «I used to love across the street from Disneyland and saw those a few times. My roommate did some research and found out what caused it but I forget what it was. Not anything alien. I was hoping it was though.»
It turns out this isn’t the first time rings have been spotted over the resort. Following a previous sighting, Disneyland officials responded saying rings are a standard side effect of flame effects used in some of the shows.
