A UFO spotted in the sky above a quiet Scottish village has been seen before – in Texas, USA. Back in 2018, we told how a strange phenomenon was captured on video looping above Kippen in Stirlingshire.
The footage was shared anonymously with YouTube channel UFO Today. The woman who submitted the clip lives just outside the village and said she went outside one night after hearing a loud noise.
She ran onto her balcony with her camera at the ready and spotted a fast-moving light in the sky that she described as “a UFO flying erratically near a hill”.
In the footage, the object appears to be on fire, emitting flames and sparks. It was seen moving in various directions at speed before it suddenly vanished. The woman believed it was not a man-made phenomenon and said: «It did not produce any sound at all. When I analysed the footage I noticed the object ejected a lot of material.»
When approached at the time, Police Scotland said they were not aware of the incident.
Someone who was aware was retired American Marine Bradley Stewart. The veteran reached out to our sister title, The Stirling Observer, to reveal his claims that he had seen an eerily similar occurrence to the ‘Kippen Alien’ in his hometown of Paris, Texas.

Mr Stewart said that he had spotted an unexplained phenomenon in the sky three times. He said: «The first time I saw it was at my friend’s house on a cloudy night when this black sphere appeared and lit those clouds lime green that covered the sky. My friend was wondering if it was green fireworks but it made no sound at all.
«The second occasion was during the day, around 12noon, in the same area around her house when I noticed that same black sphere in the air, stationary, but when I wanted to get up close it started changing shape [to look] like an American football.
«Then it proceeded to turn colours as well, it turned into a metallic-type then slowly started floating, going east of the area. Then it turned back to its spherical shape and turned black but this time it darted off at a miraculous mach speed and it was gone.

«The third time [was when] I really got to see this thing in action. I was at my other friend’s house, he stayed by the wooded area and we heard this really loud bang outside so all three of us went outside to figure out what was going on. We stepped outside to witness that same black sphere outside floating in the woods.
«The real freaky part was that it turned back to black and what looked like a green light emitting from the thing and it started scanning the ground floor, the same lime green colour like before, but after it got through ‘scanning’ the area it stopped in mid-air and the whole sphere turned lime green and changed shape from a sphere to a lime green circle.

«It started moving extremely fast in a triangle, then it stopped again and started to expand. It quadrupled in size then shrunk in size and there was that loud bang again that scared my friends back into the house while I was standing there with my XD-40 9mm pistol in my left hand while I still had the camera pointing and recording in shock of what I just witnessed.»
He kept the photos of his chance sighting to show others. He then took his snaps and did an online reverse image search and found our coverage of the Kippen Alien sighting.
Mr Stewart said: «I downloaded the photos and that’s when I stumbled on the video that was posted on YouTube by that woman from Kippen and boy howdy was I in shock to find numerous photos and videos of this UFO.»
