Eerie ‘UFO clouds’ hovering over sea like alien invasion movie filmed by stunned fisherman
Ammon News – A fisherman was stunned to film mesmerising footage of what he said looked like «UFO clouds» hovering in the sky over the sea – and one observer said it was like something out of an alien invasion movie.
There is a wispy layer punctuated by a number of perfectly circular, denser ones. They resemble flying saucers hovering above the sea. It was spotted near Key West, Florida, US.
Local man Chris said: «I’ve seen enough alien invasion movies to know exactly what those are.» Jesus wrote: «UFOs in stealth mode.» And Tobbe hit back against those suggesting they were just clouds.
A fallstreak hole is a large gap, usually circular or elliptical, that can appear in cirrocumulus or altocumulus clouds.
Holepunch clouds are caused by supercooled water in the clouds suddenly evaporating or freezing. They may be triggered by passing aircraft. They occur at altitudes of 2,000 to 49,000ft.
