After the 70s, a series of extremely suspicious documents and testimonies appeared, about an alleged collaboration between American officials and aliens.
There are serious suspicions that some were fabricated, even by the officials, to misinform and confuse public opinion.
Linda Moulton Howe is a journalist and producer of documentary films. She became known at the end of the 70s by investigating the strange mutilations of animals reported in America. In 1983, Howe was documenting for a film, commissioned by the HBO channel, a case of great strangeness, an alleged UFO landing in 1978 at the Air Force base in Ellsworth (South Dakota). Through an acquaintance, she received a tempting proposition: the desired data could be made available to her by Agent Richard C. Doty of the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI), at Kirtland Air Force Base, near Albuquerque (New Mexico).
On April 9, 1983, Doty led the reporter into a heavily guarded office on the grounds of Kirtland Air Force Base. Here, in addition to the promised information, Doty also showed Linda a secret material; which she could read, but without writing anything down. Doty was also willing to answer questions. He told Linda that those who suggested showing him the material were his bosses.
The document discussed a meeting between the American military and aliens, which would have taken place at the Holloman base, on April 25, 1964. On this occasion, the United States government would have returned the bodies of some aliens, and the visitors, in turn, would also have them “something” instead. The document also mentioned four cases of crashed UFOs (at Aztec, Roswell, Kingman, and in northern Mexico). In these collapses, remains and creatures of the “gray” type, 1–1.3 meters long, with reptilian or even insect features, with long and thin hands, with four fingers, partially united with a skin, having nails, were recovered in the shape of pliers, with holes instead of nostrils and ears.
