An Italian basketball player has debunked this viral UFO video shot in Brazil by claiming that he is one of the creatures depicted in the frightening clip. Earlier this week, eye-witness Sara Dalete was hiking with family when she spotted two strange, tall creatures standing on the cliffs of the Brazilian island of Ilha do Mel.
Sara recorded the footage, which quickly went viral across social media. However, the commotion about a possible extraterrestrial invasion of Earth may just be a case of mistaken identity.
Felipe Motta plays for the Brazilian team Flamengo and uploaded this TikTok video, where he claims to be one of the tall figures in question. “I went on a trail to enjoy nature and this view,” he said when his video was translated into English. “But then people took a photo of me, sent it to the gossip page and called me strange.”
