The pilot saw the strange UFO last month during a flight from Pittsburgh to Maryland.
He contacted the nearest air traffic control tower, saying: «We observed something approximately 30 feet tall».
When asked to describe the object, he said it was «tall and pointy» and «in the shape of a triangle. It was bottom and flat on top».
He added: «I’m not sure what it is.» The pilot assured that the object posed no danger as it was far away but was «just noticeable enough» to report. The conversation ended when the controller took the pilot’s phone number.
Shockingly, the witness claimed to have snapped a photo of the triangular object, but it has vanished.
