On January 6, 2014, between 6:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., over the city of Bremen (Germany), an unidentified flying object was seen. He was followed with the naked eye by numerous witnesses and was also seen, passing by, on the airport radar.

The object was spotted on January 6, at around 18.00 from the control tower of the Bremen airport, with the naked eye and binoculars, as well as, in two short and inconclusive periods, on the airport’s radar. For this reason, a plane that was going to land from Munich was diverted to Hanover airport. In a short time, the object moved away and was lost from sight.

Half an hour after it disappeared from the airport area, the object reappeared about 300 meters above the stadium where the Werder Bremen team plays. Those at the airport notified the police. Two police officers also saw an object that they initially thought was a helicopter. It was extremely quiet and had bright lights. Slowly, the object floated toward the city center. The police went after him with a patrol car. Several other police cars also followed the apparition.

As the object seemed to be heading towards the airport again, a flight to Frankfurt was canceled. A police helicopter was raised to intercept and identify the ship. At first, the crew reported that they did not see anything, then that they saw something but they were not sure, until around 9:00 p.m. they said that they had identified an object without lights. They informed the airport control tower. He indicated to a plane coming from Paris to delay landing. After being held in the air for a while, the plane landed without problems. The spokeswoman for the German Air Traffic Control stated, among other things: “the object had normal red and green lights and an approach light on both sides.”

A witness told the media that the object passed over her house four times, flying at an altitude of 100 to 200 meters. “It was like an airplane (…) it had lights but it was much louder,” she said.
