In 1986, an intriguing event unfolded within a secluded military town in the Tomsk region of Russia. Officer Sergei Mikhailov, on duty at the time, became the first witness to an inexplicable phenomenon that unfolded within the military unit. It all began when the lights suddenly went out, followed swiftly by a complete shutdown of all equipment.
As they attempted to restore operations, it became evident that not only the headquarters but also the neighboring buildings had lost power. Stepping outside, Sergey noticed a peculiar sight — a hovering blue disc-shaped object in the sky above the settlement.
Alarmed by this sight, the officer quickly raised the alarm. Within minutes, dozens of soldiers emerged from the barracks and other structures, responding to the unusual situation. The unidentified flying object remained motionless in the sky for an extended period, and then, to everyone’s surprise, two more similar objects emerged from the northwest.
Efforts to establish communication with higher command proved fruitless. The military unit’s equipment remained non-functional, and even quartz watches had mysteriously stopped. Oddly enough, the standby generators produced no power, as if some force was draining it away.
Ten minutes passed, and suddenly, the devices began spinning erratically, tracing unimaginable trajectories. At a certain point, a connection appeared to form between the three UFOs, seemingly composed of electricity. Its power intensified, accompanied by sporadic bursts of lightning shooting outwards. The military personnel watched in awe and fear.
Sensing impending danger, Sergei Mikhailov ordered everyone to seek shelter within the buildings, anticipating an imminent explosion. However, instead of an explosion, a square-shaped energy portal materialized, into which the objects vanished.
After the extraordinary event concluded, the electronics within the military unit began functioning again. In 2017, Sergei Mikhailov retired from his post and shared his account with Kosmopoisk, a group dedicated to investigating ufology, cryptozoology, and other mysteries.
