An alleged leaked document confirms that the 1947 Roswell crash was indeed a UFO and states that a United States Air Force intelligence officer met with two aliens after a separate crash in 1964.

The document, which was heavily redacted, states that “On 07 July, 1947, a secret operation was begun to assure recovery of the wreckage of this object for scientific study,” Knewz.com has learned. That date matches up with the Roswell crash.

The document, posted on Reddit by user AbrocomaElectrical63, also states that the U.S. military’s “mission was to establish communication with aliens” as part of “Project Sigma,” which was originally established in 1954. The information comes from “leaked United States Government documents,” according to The Daily Star.

“This project was met with positive sucess (sic) when in 1959, the United States established primitive communications with the Aliens,” the document states.

The document, whose cover page refers to the overall mission as “Project Aquarius,” states that “On April 25, 1964, a USAF intelligence officer met two aliens at a pre-arranged location in the desert of New Mexico. The contact lasted for approximately three hours.”

According to the document, “the Air Force officer managed to exchange basic information with the two Aliens. … This project is continuing at an Air Force base in New Mexico.”

The document also suggests that the Air Force attempted to fly a recovered UFO as part of “Project Snowbird,” established in 1972.

“Its mission was to test fly a recovered Alien aircraft. This project is continuing in Nevade (sic),” the document states.

Another project, dubbed “Project Pounce,” was established in 1968.
