UFO spotted near Imphal airport, Indian Air Force scrambles 2 Rafale jets

The Indian Air Force scrambled two Rafale fighter jets to search for an ‘unidentified flying object’ (UFO) after receiving information of its sighting near Imphal airport on Sunday. Officials launched one Rafale from Hashimara but could not see anything. The first aircraft unsuccessfully returned to its base and another one was deployed towards the area to double check. The second aircraft also returned without registering any presence of any object in the air. The Eastern Command of the Indian Air Force said that it has activated its Air Defence response mechanism and further identification efforts underway.
