Formed in 1995 by Makoto Kawabata in Japan, ACID MOTHERS TEMPLE released its debut album in 1997, and it was selected as one of the year’s best albums in the The Wire magazine. Since then the group has released over 80 albums. The band has performed in collaboration with musicians including Gong and Guru Guru, Simeon (Silver Apples), Nik Turner (Hawkwind), & more.
