ONLOOKERS were left baffled when a strange-shaped orb was spotted floating several hundred feet off the ground near a known UFO hotspot.
Video of the sighting from last week in San Antonio, Texas was shared on YouTube, where it quickly gained thousands of views.

«I was headed home from work in my Uber when I glanced out the window and observed the object hovering in the sky shining like a star but it was very close to the ground a few hundred feet from the ground,» read a statement from a witness.
The video was shared on Scott Waring’s YouTube channel UFO Sightings Daily, an aggregate source of claimed UFO sightings sent in by witnesses.
Waring’s website goes more in-depth on the 30-second video, describing the object as a «teardrop light in the distance.»
«Similar UFOs have been seen worldwide, often called the jellyfish UFOs, the lower part has glowing dangly tentacles like a jellyfish,» Waring wrote.

In the video, a bright light is seen hovering in the sky, appearing to move slightly.
The video received a few comments from viewers speculating what the orb could be.
«THAT IS HUGE AND BRIGHT,» wrote one viewer.

The San Antonio clip comes after a bizarre TikTok showed an odd scene in the Dallas, Texas sky.
The account said: «Spotted in the sky over DFW tonight.»
Viewers debated in the comment section as to what the lights could be.
«Did anybody know what that was?» asked a viewer.
The video showed a bright white object or light in the night sky near Dallas/Fort Worth Airport.
Three uncertain-looking dots move away from each other until only one light is left.
This unidentified object then slowly moves across the dark blue sky.
Viewers took to the comments to share that they had also seen the event.
One person said: «I saw this tonight.
One theory for the strange light in the sky could have been that 22 Starlink satellites were above Texas at that time, according to local Fox affiliate KDFW.
The supposed smoke could have also been from the second stage of a SpaceX launch that was over Northern Texas, and prepared to de-orbit over the ocean later, according to Fox KDFW.

Although these reports have neither been confirmed nor denied, a number of other apparent UFO sightings have occurred across the US, The U.S. Sun has previously reported.
